Baby Its Cold Outside by Giana Darling:
I loved this dirty little check in with Elaina and Dante! As usual they blazed through my Kindle like the fire they are and I enjoyed the cross over from their story to meeting Tiernan. Perfect as usual anything this writer puts out is gold and I was glad to see the bridge connecting the old to the new!

I tried, I really tried. This book had so many nonconsensual encounters disguised as D/s, absolutely horrifying.

Such a good collection of interlinked short stories! I didn't read them all but read some great ones and found some new authors to try. Another I'll come back to next Christmas and read the rest of the stories.

O Holy Night by Pam Godwin
Oh my oh my oh my!!! Magnus is back. That dirty man is still chasing Tinsley around, and she, of course, is still chasing trouble. Someone wants her dead, and Magnus is going to stop that at all costs. This was short & steamy. I love families that have started out enemies, but are building bridges around those circumstances. ❤️❤️❤️

OMG Dante & Elena are off the charts hot. I love that we get more of the characters, and the ending was PERFECT! It starts with Tiernan Morelli showing up wanting her help. He invites her to the Christmas ball. It is setting us up for his story. I loved this short story that gave us a glimpse into the future.

OMG! I need more of Finn & Eva! He wants to save her, and she spends her life following every order of her parents! I can’t wait for more of these characters!
O Come All Ye Faithful by Amelia Wilde
I love Christmas with Leo & Haley. She is so good for him, and he will come for anyone he thinks might hurt her. I loved that she jabbed back at someone who tried to slight her. I loved that she gave him back his childhood room. ❤️

If you love the Morellis and Constantines as much as you do, I bet you are also over the moon to be whisked away to a Christmas ball with all our favourite characters. Dangerous Press kicked off with a short story anthology, Dark Fairy Tales. So it is lovely to return to the kind of storytelling we started with. Now though we all know the world and will appreciate checking in on our favourite characters. Along with introducing some new stories to come next year!

This is my first anthology and I really enjoyed it. It has short stories from (14) different authors all with different tropes. They're also centered around the same event: the Morelli Christmas Ball. I have quite a few of these authors on my TBR, but haven't read them yet, so it was a great opportunity to get a feel for their writing style. Each story is about 30 mins.
Some of my favorites were:
Silver Bells - Alta Hensley (Mafia / Bad Boy - Lyriope / Nick Hudson - This was my favorite story and can't wait to read more. Lyriope got in debt to the Mafia and Nick is willing to protect her, but she will then be indebted to him. Due out in April 2022)
Hallelujah - Skye Warren (Mafia - Loved Eva Morelli and Finn's Hughes characters. I definitely want more of their story. Not written yet, but she said she'll write it)
Wrapped in Red - Sam Mariano (Office Romance - Georgia / Lee - I love Sam's writing. She, of course, gave us her signature manipulative alpha, which I love. Keep an eye out for Carter / Zoe and Caleb (restaurant boy). They may just pop up)
Santa Baby - Claire Contreras (Second Chance Romance -Vanessa / Adam - They are divorced and find each other again. I really enjoyed her writing and will definitely read more by her).
Little Drummer Boy - M. O'Keefe (Assassin - Zilla / Jacob Dressel - He's an assassin and has helped her hone her skills. This was sexy and suspenseful and I liked that she was a strong heroine.)
Carol of the Bells - Maria Luis (Forbidden - Laela Donna / Reid Paxton - He's the FBI agent that put her father behind bars. This was super steamy and I loved her writing. Looking forward to reading some of her other work)

Last Christmas - Katee Robert (Reverse Age Gap - Cael O'Malley / Eleanor McKinley - There wasn't a lot of plot to this one, but it was very spicy with lots of dirty talk)
It Came Upon A Midnight Clear - Jenika Snow (Possessive / Protective Alpha - Galina / Arlo - He's a fixer for anyone that will hire him and he'll do anything to protect her).
Silent Night - Sienna Snow (Arranged Marriage - Nyx Mykos / Simon Drakos - Greek Mafia. She wants to be independent but falls for him and he will not allow it)
I did not read these, as I plan to read the character's stories in the books released prior to these short stories:
