God I loved this book. So much so that I think I might have to read the second book, which I wasn’t originally interested in.
I… love Sam and Jesse’s chemistry? I’m sorry they were so sweet and cute. Most of that was because of Sam (I’m sorry I love me a funny white boy. And he’s a himbo? Yeah, he lives in my pocket). Jesse, at the beginning, kind if sounded like a twinkish incel, but then he stopped being annoying, and actually became likable. Also the sex???? Oh my god??? Got to say, I hate when cis women write great gay-sex scenes, and these scenes?? Yeah I gotta give it to you Miss Wilder. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah…
All in all, this book was so sweet and nice. I really love how Sam was so open to the revelation of the fluidity of his sexuality. It was really mature and I really loved it. I’m honestly really sad to have to leave these two. Definitely recommend the book.
