Too many characters. Too much irrelevant crap. Too many things unexplained. Too hard to follow. Only cared about one of those guys and they didn't go into his story nearly enough.

Definitely a downer. The way it was organized was confusing at times. But I didn't give up on it so there is that.
3.5 stars. For a nearly 550 page book, I got thru it faster than expected. It’s like an Indian Godfather. A sweeping epic told in parts (most long, some short) from various perspectives. Swinging back and forth through time like a pendulum, the characters smacking into each other like wrecking balls. I got swept up in it and though I’m not sure I loved it, it was an interesting place to linger for a spell.
I felt like I was watching a movie the whole way through. This author is amazing. It was easy to keep track of who was who, and easy to visualize, with a smart plot.

I honestly couldn't tell you what this book was about. And I guess fuck Ajay's sister, amiright?
Really interesting and engaging, a story I didn't want to stop reading and was never really sure where it was going next. I think I'm going to have to reread the ending because I'm a bit confused, so I'd sit it at like a 4.5, but that could just be me!
