Oliver Aiku doesn’t even play for Blue Lock, but he’s winning my heart!! His genuine passion as a defender (while everyone else is dying to be a striker) and genuine appreciation for talent even in his opponents is so cool. Also, the flashbacks to Rin as a kid continue to pull at my heartstrings… I need Sae to be a better brother asap.

This was a great, intensive volume. It continues the match between Team Blue Lock and the U-20, but is particularly focused on Isagi and his ability to read the field, as well as continuing to dive into the one-sided rivalry between the Itoshi brothers. I also really enjoyed Oliver's role in the U-20s' strategies.
