brilliant! I mean, I can't tell in places if it's poorly written or just the language of the times, but the content is highly amusing. she seems fascinated by the women of English History and, really, I think more people should be!

Jane Austen writes the history of England. Beginning with Henry the 4th and finishing with Charles the 1st with the sole purpose to "abuse Elizabeth the 1st" for the crime of Mary Stuart's death. I respect this level of spiteful urgency. Why did I read this? Almost anythings penned by Dear old Jane is readable. How did I read this keeping names in mind? The mnemonic trick was to keep in mind the actors that have portrayed these figures and I could differentiate them. Henry the fifth was Tom Hiddleston from Hollow Crown, Henry the 8th Jonathan Rhys Myers from Tudors. Elizabeth Woodville was Rebecca Ferguson in White Queen, Elizabeth of York was Jodie Comer in White Princess and so on. It worked.
