Dominic is an alpha hole with no heart and a wicked tongue. He is the creative director at his family business and protects the family name. He seems to have some anger issues and is very rich.

Ally is feisty, stubborn, and curvy. She works at the pizza place she met Dominic, and wow, the verbal sparing was something. She gets fired because her customer service was horrible to Mr. Grumpy, but I loved it. I love her even more with the opportunity she gets presented.

This book has an enemies-to-lovers vibe, and the title fits the storyline. His mother has it out for him hiring her, and I wonder where this will go. Omg, I'm cracking up thru the veiled insults and unexpected workplace discussions.

Wow, the sexual tension is a volcano waiting to explode for the both of them. The hard line is drawn for them despite their baser instincts, and they can't break it, but how will he get around it and get her? Some choices leave Ally desperate, and she does something crazy, but Dom is there to rescue her again. However, her situation is still a mystery to him.

The angsty, grumpy boss hole and the silver-tongued, feisty main female character make me think of a combination of The Devil Wears Prada and 50 Shades of Grey. These characters are so opposite but chemically combustible that you can't help but get sucked into this big city story.

This book gets better and better the further you read. When this couple finally falls into each other's arms, their chemistry is hot enough to burn the pages. I like that we see another side of Dominic.

Epic relationships sometimes have failures, and this one takes the cake. Dom messed up royally, but at least he knows what he did wrong.

Omg, this book ends epically just as it started, and I seriously enjoyed the memories it brought as well. I loved Ally and Dom's story.

I enjoyed it. It was a bit too long. The grovelling compensated everything this man put Ally through. Fuck it, I really enjoyed it.
