This book!! Was a sort of library loan mood pick but it was amazing! Just what I was needing. Soothing and heartwarming, this is a book about accepting where life takes you, of being where you need to be even if no one else gets it. Of appreciating the little things, all the experiences and people and stories you learn along the way.

This is such a beautiful and unique book that is as lighthearted and hopeful as it is sorrowful. Ultimately I found it to be a stunning depiction of very ordinary lives (and a very ordinary place) through the lens of someone who chooses to see the good in people and take pleasure in the little things. A reminder that everyone has a story and that all of these stories have some sort of beauty in them, and of the importance of simple acts of kindness, love and friendship.
