I really liked this, the structure was so creative and she used the different voices masterfully. I just really wish it tied together more nicely / and it didn’t have much of an *impact* on me. Cool book overall tho

I’m not going to claim that Candy House is a perfect book, but Jennifer Egan has an ability to marry form and content in a way that is absolutely mesmerizing, at times even magical.
Chaotic beginning followed by a series of brilliant chapters/narrators that ultimately make it worth it.. very in keeping with A Visit from the Goon Squad
