Superstore meets haunted house. The book is set up like an IKEA catalog and lays out models of furniture along with descriptions. When you start, it feels like a humorous style of horror. Only half way do you realize it stops being humorous. There are some gory bits and a criticism on being the cogs in a retail machine, but if what I want out of a horror novel is to be horrified, it works. I really enjoyed this read, even if some parts made my skin crawl.

Very fast read and it really sucks you in. Loved it a bunch, especially how dark it got and how there's still so much I want to know.

This was so boring and wildly lackluster. Kinda wish I DNFed it.

It wasn't that funny and it wasn't that scary. 10/10 premise but 5/10 execution. Not a bad book by any means just a bit of a letdown. Love the concept of the physical book, I thought that was really fun.

Read it very quickly until the last quarter of the book, but that's my fault not the books. Enjoyed the first half of the book much more, fun to read something in a genre I'm not used to!
