really, really fun! i love commitment to an idea and this book oozes with passion.
i didn’t adore every part of the execution of ideas, but the creativity and concept really drives this story to the moon.

What an absolutely horrifying and fascinating experience. Bought and binged the entire book in one evening! The first third or so is fairly steady, not scary but does a good job with character/setting development. Then, holy heck, things just explode and keep escalating till the very last page. Definitely leaves you wanting more.

So fun!! Not as creepy and scary as I wanted it to be, and the explanation of everything that happened was kinda meh. But I loved the character dynamics and the setting, and the illustrations were so good even on kindle. This might be my least favorite Grady Hendrix so far but it was still such a fun reading experience and I really enjoyed!!
