Beautiful. Infuriating.
The one thing I willl say is that - I love artistic books like this because it makes me feel less alone. It reminds me that what I think about and how I feel are valid and justified and that it doesn’t matter how much money you have — black people everywhere are experiencing the same thing.
It encourages me to fight back through writing and just being trying my best fucking self. My people, they can try as they might to diminish us, but our shine and our light ain’t going nowhere.

This book forced me, in a good way, to reflect on so many aspects of my life. I always recommend it to others, and reread it when I can.
