Oh wow, I love this series! Love it so much, I don't know what to do about it!

It sucks that Fushiguro and Kugisaki's brawl with Mai and Togo was kept relatively short, but I did like seeing them fight back against their stronger sempais and learning about Maki's motivation for becoming a sorcerer. It's incredible how simple these characters are, yet I love them so much!

Itadori got a lot of screen time this volume, and may I say that I adore how fucking pure and funny he is! He's so childish yet so sweet and pure that I want to squee for days over him. Also, fuck YEAH, Gojo, tell it to that old piece of shit! I fucking love Gojo and my heart swells every time he's present. He is truly best boy of this series.

I'm definitely sensing a theme of adults vs. children in terms of how much society should expect from them and what roles they should play. Granted, Nanami practically bashed my head against a wall with how subtle he was about it, but I am thrilled we're getting a theme like this is a shounen action series. My Hero Academia does something similar in that it tries to let the grownups take most of the responsibility, but often the kids do have to step in to help even though it's dangerous. The fact that we have a Shounen Jump title that is actively trying to show adults taking up most of the responsibility AND telling the kids to just be kids and enjoy their youth is really refreshing and long overdo.

I better stop while I'm ahead or this review's gonna be eight pages long, but suffice it to say I am so FUCKING DOWN for this series. I am having an absolute blast reading it and can't wait to see where the series goes. Love it so much!

INTRODUCING KENTO NANAMI!!!! Such a great character. Seeing the differences between the manga and anime is always great. From the little I've experienced with Shonen, I'm glad it's finally being addressed that adults should take more responsibility in looking out for their students or those younger than them learning how to control powers of some sort. Children always end up being at the forefront without proper training. It's always a reactionary thing or something life-threatening making them in charge of something because the adults couldn't handle it. I'm grateful for that speech Nanami gave even though...I'll just leave it there. It was a nice touch is all I'm saying to acknowledge the difference in what makes you an adult versus what younger people think being an adult is.
