Who else thinks Thor is a bit too powerful? No? Well, me neither!
I'm not a big fan of Thor. This was also the first volume I ever read of Thor himself.
After everyone thought they saw the last of Thor after the events of 'Ragnarok', the god of thunder returns to Earth to set things right. First thing on his list? Tell Iron Man what he thought of using his DNA to create a Thor clone and killing Goliath (see Civil War).
*For the love of God, LEAVE TONY STARK ALONE!! Yes, he made some mistakes during the Civil War. But he wasn't the only one! Reed Richards is as guilty as Tony is!*
This volume concentrates the most around Donald Blake, searching for his Asgardian friends who are also disguised as humans. And that's about it.
The only plot twist was when he found Loki together with a lot of other Asgardians. Only to find out Loki has turned into a woman.
A bit dissapointing, to be honest. But then again, I don't know much about the stories of Thor.

Este es un nuevo reinicio de Thor y ya van... unos pocos. Lo mejor de este nuevo comienzo es que parte totalmente de cero y eso abre muchas posibilidades. Lo peor es que en los primeros 6 números apenas da tiempo a colocar las fichas en el tablero y realmente no pasa nada aunque intuyes por donde van a ir los tiros. No sabemos que va a ocurrir en el futuro más allá de que como siempre Loki será una piedra en el zapato.
Lo que más me ha gustado es esa actitud fría y distante de Thor, por una vez se comporta y actúa como un verdadero Dios. Su pelea con iron man es de lo mejor del tomo.

Un cómic al que me dolió bajarle estos dos puntos.
Al igual que el libro de X-Men este puede ser un libro para conocer a Thor, sí, pero si se tiene internet a mano.
¿Por qué?, hay referencias al Ragnarok, a disputas que pertenecen a cómics mucho más anteriores a este, por ejemplo Tony Stark crea una especie de Thor que salió mal, falló. Entonces el cameo que hay de Stark es para pelear con Thor y se menciona por arriba este asunto.
También aparecen viejos amigos de Thor, Fandral, Volstagg y Hogun. Aparece Kelda, menciona a su difunta esposa (bueno, ahora desaparecida) Sif.
Esta fue una de las razones para bajarle un punto, no necesité googlear los acontecimientos porque lo conozco pero si me pongo en el lugar de otros compradores con la excusa de "cómics para conocer a los personajes más populares de MARVEL" la realidad es que no es así.
La otra razón fue la tipografía que utilizaron en algunas de las páginas, no se ve casi nada y tuve que acercarme mucho el cómic, porque con la luz que utilizo para leer si no hacía sombra no podía ver esas frases que eran pensamientos de Thor y es algo que no voy a permitir, la idea del cómic es leerlo sin problemas en cualquier lugar. Este cómic en esto no lo logra.
Con respecto a que lo recomiendo para comenzar, pues sí ya que Thor comienza de nuevo su vida y traslada a Asgard a la Tierra, a un pueblito pequeñito en Oklahoma, hay pocos habitantes.
Es más, en este cómic Thor se vuelve más humano y no está mal, pero como dije: es un comienzo y uno se puede quedar con ganas de más.

My first time reading about Thor and I really really enjoyed it. I think it was a good way to start reading Thor. I was hoping to like this one, and I did. The storyline in this volume always kept me reading, as engaging as it was I could definitely say that it's very well written.

Ici on a une histoire qui est bien en complément de Civil War (que je vous conseille de lire dans tous les cas) avec un Thor plein de regrets qui essaye de retrouver les siens éparpillés à travers le monde ayant pris la forme d'être humains lambda.
Le début est excellent, on a droit à une confrontation avec Iron-Man grandiose, d'ailleurs je me fais la réflexion qu'il est souvent le liant des intrigues des héros je le vois presque dans tous les stand alone.
Malheureusement le concept retombe un peu et même si je ne dirai pas qu'on s'ennuie, mais la tension du début est moins forte même si on finit quand même en beauté.
Bref un comics que je voulais lire depuis un moment et je ne suis pas déçu !

didnt expect to love this but i do. its so funny, the art is nice, and the story is great. not enough comics are like actually funny.

This volume gets two thumbs up!! I really enjoyed this, much more than the Superman volume I finished yesterday by Straczynski.
Since I'm still getting into a majority of comics and since I'm not fully aware of the backstories of many characters, there were moments that I figured a firmer understanding of previous Thor comics would be helpful. Still, I liked how the characters kept saying they were experiencing a "rebirth." So, in some ways, this at least allowed me to read it without having to worry too much about all his backstory. I saw this at the library and I'm glad I picked it up!!
