I have so many things to write about this but I'll round it up to one sentence.
I'm glad I wasted a day to read this book because now I know I wouldn't waste my time buying or reading anything written by the author in the future.

Oh and Caleb, self harm scars aren't cute or sexy.

Whit and Caleb
MM, mostly Caleb’s POV, gay awakening, roommates to lovers
Not loving the writing style. I skimmed a lot.
Caleb is a stage 5 clinger in the cutest way. That was about the only thing I liked in the book. The rest was very blah. Definitely won’t be continuing this series.
Tons of sex scenes, like 15, maybe more? 3.5🔥

This book was so good.

I enjoyed it right from the beginning. Caleb was hilarious, I found myself laughing out loud multiple times throughout the whole book. I love how Caleb was so clingy to Whit, he need to be touching him at all times and didn’t care what anyone thought.

I loved how Whit took care of Caleb. Even though he came off standoffish, he was so sweet and made sure that Caleb was ok. He was so welcoming of Calebs family, even though they were a lot. It was so endearing to see how much he cared about him.

Calebs family was amazing, they were so funny and so extra that I loved them all.

The only thing I didn’t love was that everything that Whit went through was glossed over. He spoke about all the horrible things that had occurred to him, his trauma was so real and important that I wish it could’ve been talked about a bit more. It felt like it was dismissed and that should’ve been handled better.

Overall, great book and I can’t wait to read the rest.

Whit & Caleb. Roommates to lovers with a sexual awakening for Caleb. I really liked this book and how easily Caleb fell into it with whit. I liked seeing Sem as Caleb’s cousin and meeting magnus after already having read Max’s book. I think that whit’s family drama and his whole deal could’ve been have been more detailed or drawn out. The whole third act breakup thing happened and resolved too quickly for my pleasure. But overall I still really liked the book
