Wow I love them. They're obsessed and ridiculous. Whit is so lovely and tries so hard even when he fucks up. He understandably is bad with vulnerability bc he's never really had anyone trustworthy to care for him. Caleb is a kind loving weirdo who worms his way right into your heart and also Whit's. Basically until the major conflict they work so well and talk so easily. I love their chemistry so much. I don't love the conflict bc I always find them sad since it's outside forces. Caleb does kinda forgive him easily but I think one) in character and two) I'm kinda the same lol. In the end, i really loved it and the couple.

Writing was no the best but it was a sweet story and Caleb was a lovable goofball who refreshingly, had very few issues about his attraction to Whit.

Caleb and Whit - what a ride. I enjoyed this as I do with all Cora Rose books. Spicy and cute. Ridiculous at times no doubt but that is the style of her books. I just love a cuddly golden retriever boy with a dark broody one. I love the taking care of him when he's sick trope (also in Until Him)
