I enjoyed this book and thought it a solid continuation of the previous books. Like all of the books before, I wanted more of some stories, but he just gives dribbles of each character since there are so many being told in parallel. I was surprised by a couple twists and am looking forward to reading the next book.

Not my favorite of the series so far but still great. Cersei is such an evil narcissist so I'm grateful George gave us that ending.
The parallels between her and Tyrion at the end of ASOS is just... chef's kiss.
Oh my god the Brienne chapters??!!? Her second to the last chapter won the award for being the one that made me sit their with my mouth open for the longest time.
So glad we got a little bit of zombie catelyn.
Sam is so sweet and I will be crushed if he dies.
Ugh and when they revealed Jon switched the babies!!!!
Consider Jaime avenged in my mind. And I want to give a big shoutout to the ASOIAF wiki for reminding me if we'd seen a character before lol. Also the fact that george is still introducing new(ish) characters and lands?? That dude is crazy and I love his books.
