I hated the Sinclairs — good characterisation of the rich and the inheritance wars that come about because of their fortune. I liked Gat. Because the story unfolds like it’s revealing clues (to a mystery you don’t understand), the plot twist at the end hits you like a truck.

This book had me crying in public. I got so attached to the characters that finishing it destroyed me.
I related to Cady and her problems, I related to the situation and the moments, I knew what was gonna happen but my critical mind didn't wanna believe it. Carpe diem istg, it's all there.
(if you wanna cry more after reading listen to "youth" - Daughter

I got it spoiled and still found the ending pretty emotional. But like a lot of people do mention, I didn’t really feel connected to Cady or Gat’s relationship. I liked the writing style because it created an eerie air, and gave a constant feeling of something being off.

I got it recommended and I didn’t like it at first but it got better in the end.
My friend told me it had a big plot twist in the end, so I tried to figure it out through out the book. But when the real twist came it were so bizarre that I couldn’t stop crying. So good ending. I felt empty from the end yesterday until I woke up this morning.
It’s good and I recommend it!
