aesthetics are perfect and the fashion is awesome, the mc is so lovable. but bc of the pedophilia and sexualization of minors, FUCK THIS SERIES AND EVERYONE INVOLVED.

A really fun manga about cosplay, making clothes, and more!

I have had my eyes on this manga, and anime, for a while now! I was in the mood for some manga so I decided to go to my Kobo app and get reading the first volume of this one, and I can tell you… I need more, and I will be watching the anime when I can. I need to see this duo animated.

In this one we meet a guy who has a big hobby, but something that he just cannot share with anyone, namely he loves making hina doll faces and also making clothes for them. Well, OK, he mostly just makes the clothes because he is so darn good at it, but he really would like to just make the heads. And yes, he even carries one with him, which was a bit of a turn off from me, given how he even talked to it and all that, boo, you are 16-17 year’s old, that is just no. But I did start to like him more and more as he and Marin get closer and closer. He starts to really come out of his shell and I love seeing him do his best to make something great for her. Plus, seriously, I get that he wants to make Hina Doll Heads/faces, but he should just stick to clothes, he is a freaking wizard with those. Just from playing the game that Marin was talking about (which made his grandfather think he was watching/playing porn and which me laugh) he was able to make several patterns and all that was needed to get the cosplay perfect. Yes. He is dedicated. He isn’t going to just do his best, he is going to do his ultra best!

And then there is Marin. I was at first a bit worried, I do love a gal-type of girl, but sometimes they can get a bit much/annoying/too dere dere. But Marin? I just loved her instantly. She was just so cute and adorable and when she goes in full fangirl mode? She reminds me of myself and I just love seeing her go on a full tangent about the game, about the character, not even caring about anyone hearing about it. Now I hear you think, why is this such a problem. Well, the character she loves is from an eroge/hentai game. With slaves. Masters. All that jazz. So um, yeah. Maybe not entirely something you want to chat about in public, but she doesn’t care. And I love that but I was also experiencing some second-hand embarrassment. Haha. I love how spirited she is and how she tries to make things easier for our male MC… but in the end making it not always the easiest. I mean, she is sexy, and I can imagine a 17-year old boy has a hard time suddenly having a hot girl in bikini (because how else would you measure her sizes) in his room. I just love how confident she is though. I mean, I wouldn’t have done the same. But that makes me love Marin so much. She is free and confident.

I loved seeing the costume get prepared, I loved seeing it it become more and more of a reality. It was a really fun addition. Not just focus on two young adults and their dreams, but also show how things work, what to get, what to watch out for, and all that. From boob bags to the right colour of wig.

Oh, and that one moment that they were talking about the game in public? I was just laughing my butt off. Oh no!
