Not entirely sure why I'm still so invested in this series, these books are like crack for me.
Best one in the series, this one was so good! I adore the relationship between Joseph and Lily and I loved that they grew so much together. I loved that it showed a different side to the BDSM lifestyle, that what you might want might not be what you get. Joseph and Lily both had different expectations and views about their relationship going into it, but in the end, ended up with something that meet them both in the middle. I think that this is the first time I’ve seen a book like this that changes the BDSM relationship between the characters, to suit their needs more. This one had a bit more action in it than the others, with the whole mafia and murder thing, but I just loved it. It gave the book a whole new kind of depth and it wouldn’t have been the same without it. My favourite thing in the whole book has got to be Lily's thoughts and actions about books. Because I have had all of them myself before, they were just too funny and accurate. If you were to read any book from this series it should be this one, I feel like you get a bit of everything from it. I only have Given left in this series to read and I can't wait to get into it.

This was an emotional and intense read. Joseph has thisnintense dangerous vibe surrounding him even from the beginning. Lily is a writer waiting and yearning to experience what she writes. Their "relationship" is intense and wild. I liked the twists and turns this book kept coming up with. Good book and great story! Can't wait to read more from this author!!
3.75 stars. They’ve been getting better plot-wise with each one in the series. And the spice level is still very high. Looking forward to the next one!
The heartbreak, the butterflies, the angry, the sadness, and the happiness I felt while reading this book. Only put this book down ONCE but when it was in my hands I was so invested.
Joseph and Lilly were such an emotional roller coasters. I wanted to hug Lilly so bad. I also want to give Joseph a hug but a much bigger one. I never wanted a couple to have an happily ever after so bad before.
