it was ok. nothing really happened. I wanted Sawyer to have more. I like him and Rya but nothing really happened in this story.
Probably one of my new favorite JG books, only thing I had to keep Ignoring the timeline because it is contradictory & not carefully edited.

I'm beginning to feel like a broken record. With me stating how much I love this author and the book I just read/reviewed. Yet, what else can I say because every book she manages to make me become invested in the characters and so immersed in the story that time ceases to exist?
I had "met" Sawyer before in Maine's story. I knew I liked him. I had no idea how much until this book. I loved his grumpiness. I loved his being blunt. Yet, neither held a candle to the romantic side of him. Hands down , the most beautiful and romantic thing I have ever read in a book was the recreating a lost year.
The premise of this story was unique and horrifying. My heart ached for Ryah. I can't even imagine. I'm glad it happened though because she needed to meet Sawyer.
Off to the next book about Tig.

4-4.5 stars,
This book had a unique concept that hooked me from the start. Riya was missing a year of her life with no knowledge of what happened or who did it to her.
I think that the beginning of the story was strong since Saywer and Riya were getting to know each other, as well as trying to figure out what happened to Riya.
The one thing that I wish was different was the darker themes, I get that the twist was pretty messed up, but I was expecting the person of interest to be different... not as predictable.
Overall I really enjoy Jessica's writing, she hooks you in and you don't' care that you are reading an insta love book, you are engaged in the action and romance that the characters are going through. I know for a fact I am going to be reading almost all of her books, her writing is that good.

I love the the story so much. It's quite unique and unusual.
Re-reading this makes me realize how much I need a book for Brock and Barrett. Seriously, why aren't there books yet for them?!

I was all in at 4 stars in the beginning....romantic interest and a mystery is right up my alley. The mystery quickly took a back seat and things got a bit slow at that point (3 stars). It picked up just a little, but about the time they figured out who kidnapped her, it was dragging again. J G is a good writer who uses a lot of dialogue which is more to my liking.
