I was here for the first 75% of the book. It was a bit slow in places, a bit boring in others, but overall I was really enjoying it.
The last 25% turned into a huge dumpster fire. I hated the conflict, and I hated the reunion. Blah not for me.

An amazing debut by author Rosie Danan! The MCs were both relatable, sweet and, most importantly, lovable. Fiercely sex positive. I found the pacing lacked at times, but really, for a first novel, The Roommate was delightful and I will definitely be first in line to read what Ms. Danan has next in store! Highly suggested!

Usual stuff that bugs me about romances, mono-normative, 3rd act break up, yes one of the characters was bi but barely more than a mention. It has some really interesting bits and the smut was on point and consensual, but damnnn I need to write some romance of my own one of these days!

It Was Written in the third person which I don't really love and it fell short because it wasn't really what I was expecting when I read the synopsis. Not to say it didn't have a very important message it just was out of left field than what I thought was going to happen.
