I knew a few pages in I’d love this one. I picked it up without even reading the description because I wanted an easy romance, and I think going in blind was the right decision. I got to experience all the surprise and complicated emotions as the characters did without the subtle spoilers in the description. I ended up liking Clara a lot more than I did at the beginning, and I loved Josh’s character. This book was super fast paced and easy to read.

This was such a fun and quick read. If you have ever seen the movie "The Ugly Truth", this book completely reminded me of that. It made me laugh and tugged on my heart strings at times too! I definitely think the book could have been a little longer with the ending being less rushed but it did not take away from my enjoyment of the book.

Rom-com books are not usually ones that I pick up but after coming highly recommended by a friend, I couldn't resist the intriguing plot line. I absolutely loved the characters of Josh and Clara, their character developments and how the book really approached the stereotype and stigma of sex workers and porn. I believe Rosie Danan approached this topic well and created more of an understanding of workers within the porn industry.

It's a cute lil romance book. It didn't really make me feel any strong emotions either way but it was cute to read. Josh is THE book boyfriend. I do think the author relied a little too heavily on the miscommunication trope.
