This book was just not it.

The FMC sucks. She's just so unhinged and literally crazy. The MMC.. I can't even start with him.

The plot started off good, it was even funny. But towards the end, it was just disappointing. The ending was stupid, it felt like it wasn't even thought-out well.

Was expecting more from this because I am a sucker for a brother's best friend trope, but this let me down so hard.

Mr. Wrong Number was a hilarious and delightful read. It tells the story of Olivia Marshall and Colin Beck, who have always been there for her brother's best friend. When Olivia loses everything and ends up living with her brother and Colin, she begins texting with an anonymous guy, and her banter with Colin soon leads to something more, but what they don't realize is that they've been texting each other entire time, which complicates everything.

I enjoyed following Olivia's crazy antics and seeing her own 'imperfect' life in contrast to Colin's organized structure. Olivia and Colin had great chemistry and banter, and I loved watching their relationship progress from Colin seeing her as his best friend's clumsy little sister to them having genuine feelings for each other. I like the idea of secret texts and hidden identities. I didn't realize I was reading so many pages at once because the writing was so good. But I wish the premise might have been less predictable. However, it was still a perfect romantic comedy. Highly recommend it.
