Bond of Destiny

Tessa Hale

3.81 AVERAGE

I found the series above average but parts were frustrating. Lead lady was weak in parts and that got to me, but others she was strong. Overall I found the storyline good and pacing was great, I didn’t get bored, it wasn’t over detailed. I have listened to other books with heavier sex scenes so call this series on the softer side. I will try other books by this author.

Series review: I always end up thinking Tessa Hale's books are just sorta fine. Always a lot of elements that I like, but somehow the combination ends up being underwhelming. I will say, I did not care for having open door intimacy when one of the characters was still underage, enough that it drops it by half a star.

Great series

I read the whole series in just a couple of days. It took a couple of pages before I really got into that first book. I was surprised it was only one POV. I was worried it would feel one side but the way it was written it worked so well.

I liked all of the characters. How she defined what family was and what love looked like for her.

The story although has a lot of the same points this genre has, it was still unique enough to feel different. Would read the series again and definitely read this author again.

perfect ending

I love how this book and series ended, I could not download the bonus scene fast enough! Honestly every book Tessa writes is gold!

Ro’s story is over

I’m so sad. Rowan’s story is over

*This is the second time I’ve read this book but the first since I started my bookish accounts. This review is a result of my recent read.*

This series was enjoyable. I liked the world building and character development. It was a quick and easy comfort read if you enjoy these tropes. The story was wrapped up nicely with this final book and our characters got their HEA.

I really like the ending of this book and how it tied everything up. I loved the epilogue so much, truly tear worthy but in a happy way. I think this bond group was so formidable and in love. They can do anything they set their minds to if they do it together. I loved the feeling of togetherness they had.
Overall, I’d give this series a 4.5 stars. The only reason it can’t get five is because book two drags a little and I wish we saw there bond more. I thought this was a great series. Might be my favorite that Tessa has done.
