I'd forgotten I had this book. Again, another well written no real secrets book about women and aging and feeling good about yourself.
It's a cute book but i wouldn't overly recommend it. The best thing about the book are the beautiful pictures of real women that Bobbi Brown has made over. Otherwise the advice in the book is too shallow for me to draw any real lessons or inspiration from it. Often the directions are unclear, there are no pictures to tell you where exactly to place the makeup. Also she constantly repeats herself, yes we know moisturizer and SPF is a must and ok concealer should be yellowish and also is the most important make up item. This book is not made for reading from beginning to end but more to pick up if you need a little inspiration, even though it doesn't offer much of that either.
I really like Bobbi Brown! She gives it to you in simple terms and makes you proud to be a woman. She tells women to not focus on their flaws. love it!
