This was an enjoyable and quick read. I liked the main character, Meddy, quite a bit, despite finding the entire premise of the death behind the entire plot to be completely unbelievable. I think the aunties were all fully thought out characters, too, and would've liked to learn more about their family wedding business! There were a few spots, generally in the last quarter of the book, that felt like we made some pretty big leaps in dialogue and character thinking that didn't jacket in the first 3/4s of the book. So those made it feel a little like the book was rushing to consider, which isn't my favorite thing to have happen. Despite that, though, I will look to read the rest of the series

A rollicking wedding weekend full of hilarious moments and near misses. And of course, an accidental murder. Nothing too emotionally effective here for me but it was fun to read. It will be cool to see the Netflix adaptation!

Okay this was SO FUN there were so many twists I am obsessed. I love that there was some romance mixed in too. This was just so wild I loved it so much.
