I didn't love the way the trans character was written, and a lot of discussions of sexuality and gender felt very cis-centric and surface level, but it was still an interesting read.

a good little book. told in five parts, each part follows one of five friends and their experiences over a period of a couple of days. they’re in their 20s and in greenland; an interesting perspective. they’ve all also got their own thing going on and although it’s pretty short, you get a piece of their lives, their problems. the chapters all have slightly different forms, and the first person is used to great effect as you really get in their heads.

i really enjoyed reading this book. Even though it had horrible grammar that made somehow hard to read for me, the storytelling was amazing. It feels like 5 different authors wrote 5 different characters for same plotline. All characters were so unique, and that made this book such an enjoyable read. I really wish the author publishes another fiction like this, but please make sure the grammar is good enough.

It was rad to read a Greenlandic novel. Not bad.
