Fun, rivals to lovers mm short story about an uptight headmaster and rules bending, easy going teacher / drag queen. I enjoyed reading an mm romance with a drag queen that’s light hearted but also respectful.
The writing was a little uneven. There was a mix of American and British slang, to the point that I couldn’t tell which country it was supposed to be set in.

I’ve read this author before. This is a mm contemporary novella about Larry a drag queen named Honey and Godric a Dom in retirement. They meets as teacher and principal at a school. This is the first book I have read with a drag queen. I’ll read more from this author.

Very cute and fun story of Larry finding love. This was short, but it was definitely worth the read. We see him in all of the other books in the series, so it was fun to see how he met and won over Godric. I listened to this as an audiobook, and Michael Pauley was once again brilliant.

Larry was just a force of nature and I enjoyed being caught in his whirlwind. Whether he was directing the children’s choir or sashaying down the stage during drag night, Larry put his whole heart into whatever he’s doing. Godric is the perfect counterpart to Larry. Godric is steady where Larry is chaotic energy. Godric is the foundation that Larry can rely on. Plus the domination element of the relationship between Godric and Larry is hot.
Overall: 4 Stars: I loved the relationship between Larry and Godric. There was sass, humor, and hot sex – all perfect elements for a fun and sexy story. This was a great addition to the series.
