Presuming accuracy and good faith throughout this book it would be a monumental achievement in reporting so close to the historical events that are the subject. I have little reason to disbelieve the quotes and recountings but I also did not get the feeling I always knew how this information was sourced and confirmed. Which for subjects of such gravity, it would seem appropriate.
As for the subject, I am horrified by the choices made by all the Bidens and his staff. It is one of the most consequential betrayals in American history. Joe Biden in a Villain who apparently chose not to overcome the vices of pride and power. We all assumed so from the perspective of the people, but this book confirms it in the damning terms.

This book will really piss you off. It was so clear to the public what was happening with Biden, but what happened behind the scenes was so much worse.

Interesting account of how Biden, and his aides and family failed the American people. But YOU, Mr. Tapper, were just as complicit and need to reckon with that fact. You had significant power in your role at CNN. All of the sources in this book, named and unnamed. Where were they when Biden was clearly senile and you were all lying to the American people? Spineless cowards who led us to the president America deserves.
Of course, most of all, this is a story about the ego of the Biden family, Joe, Jill, and Hunter. Their egos singlehandedly changing the course of American history. The point at the end about the pardoning of Hunter and the rest of the Bidens for no justifiable reason, providing cover for the pardoning of the Jan. 6 insurrectionists. Among everything else happening lately we'd forgotten, but that is unforgivable the way he attacked his own justice dept.
