While written with an expected arc, the delivery was well-done. This book can be a great discussion tool for parents with high school teens.

This book was not what I expected, but in a good way. The book had a really good story line and the diary style of writing fit this book really well. I feel like Emily could've have been incorporated a bit more in the story. She was a good character that had a lot of potential that I felt was wasted. Ending was great, total page turner.
Great book. I learned a lot about drugs... I don't think I really needed to but now I do.

I loved it so much. Again, nearly every book in this series broke my heart. It always seemed as if there would be a happy ending.. and bam, the main character dies tragically anyways. It’s a nice break from the fairytale endings you are so often.

Oh boy. Where to even start! First off I seriously struggled to try to understand how stupid this author made Bailey even though she was suppose to be a super smart chemistry buff. You don’t have to be a drug addict to know what drugs are addictive. The fact that the author made her so naive and completely idiotic to that really annoyed me! Almost like they had no clue what they were talking about when they wrote this book! I get that she’s a 17 year old girl but NO ONE is that stupid or blind to it.

This was a fairly entertaining read, and I'm not really sure why. This book was just a good book in my opinion. I go into many books without reading much about them or even the descriptions on the back sometimes. I picked up this book based on availability and having read Go Ask Alice in the past, I thought this would be a good pick.
Overall, I don't want to hype this book up to be a masterpiece of sorts because it is not. I had just read it at a perfect at the time, and it was one of the first books in 2022 that helped get me out of my reading slump. It had some romance, but not a big focus on romance itself. It had its own plot and the romance did not seem to disrupt the plot or feel like the plot was revolved around it. This is just something I appreciate when reading. I do appreciate reading some romance, but I dislike reading romance purely.
This was a very simple read and had some good cliff hangers and plot twists in it. Though, the story itself is nothing too crazy and could even be fairly predictable at times.
