Some times I just find a book series accidentally - that's how I stumbled upon this series. Who knew that each book seems to get even better than the last. The characters of Leo and Polly first meet in the second book. They both seem to have secrets but who knew they could be such deep, dark, secrets.
Leo is an FBI Profiler whose family is involved with the Mafia in New Orleans. What no one knows about Polly is that she has been in Witness Protection since she was a teenager when she was the only one who could identify a Mafia hit man who killed her parents. When they first meet the sparks fly but will their secrets keep them apart?
I won't go into details to avoid spoilers but as the hero you know that Leo has to be a good guy but sometimes wonder. I didn't see the big surprise coming. This book kept me on the edge of my seat and I loved the way it all turned out.
