Besloot weer eens een Mortina mee te nemen uit de bieb. Ben helemaal vergeten dat te doen voor Halloween, dus dan maar nu. Haha. In dit boek ontmoeten we voor het eerst Mortina! Een lief zombiemeisje die heel graag vrienden wil zijn met de kinderen van het dorp. Ik gaf haar geen ongelijk. Als je al zo lang dood bent wordt het wel erg saai als je dan niemand hebt. Ja, een knorrige tante, een dooie kat, en een hoofd dat kan praten, niet echt gezelschap. XD
Ik was dan ook blij dat Mortina zich niet liet kisten maar gewoon bedacht dat Halloween een goede tijd was om het te proberen en ik las met veel plezier hoe ze vrienden maakt en het einde was helemaal tof. Heel lief!
Leuke art! Vooral het gebruik van foto's vond ik top.

Carino, godibile, ma non indimenticabile.
Non l'ho trovata così divertente come preannunciava il sottotitolo.
Però i disegni sono molto carini, e anche i nomi scelti dei vari personaggi.
Carina anche l'impostazione grafica generale, con le piccole note relative agli oggetti.

Mortina fue amor a primera vista, literalmente.
Me lo regaló mi hermana en la feria del libro de granada porque me enamoré de sus ilustraciones. Me recordaron a las de El loco libro de las Brujas de Annie Civardi y Graham Philpot, un libro que me regalaron de pequeña y que la humedad se cargó :< (sigo teniéndolo a pesar de estar súper destrozado). Mortina es un cuento de Halloween ilustrado y creado por Barbara Cantini, que por primera vez se anima a ser ella la autora y a contarnos un cuento con sus ilustraciones. Claramente las ilustraciones son magníficas, la historia es muy para peques, pero de eso se trata, de que ellos disfruten <3

The story of a girl, a zombie girl I might add wanting some friends, the first book of this new series sees Cantini bring to life a lovely story for young children about wanting to make new friends and difference.
First of all, the illustrations. The illustrations are beautiful and the attention to detail in this book is really beautiful (my personal favourite is the Vogue-esque magazine on the bedroom floor called ‘Morgue’). The colours are beautiful and I love how each character is drawn - I also like how Ghoulia is drawn to be emulated by kids for Halloween as shown in the back of the book.
The story is pretty sweet and Ghoulia is a really lovely character and this first installment really sets up the series for the future as Ghoulia finds a set of friends for the first time - I really look forward to her future adventures especially as the artwork to compliment the story so well.
I look forward to more of this comic, I think it can only get better!

Libro che avevo da tempo in wishlist, ho deciso di leggerlo in quanto compreso nel mese gratuito di Kindle unlimted.. Un bel libricino leggero per passare il tempo, certo è più adatto per i mesi autunnali.. Top se si vuole leggere ad Halloween.
