Wow. This book is amazing. My regular critiques of Maas’ writing remain, but the plot, character development, and hope written in every page had me reading nonstop.

One of the best ones so far! Now that we are past lots of the worldbuilding/set up the action picked up a lot for this book!!

My one qualm was that the "twists" were mostly all the same - this piece of jewlery/rock is special and will be used against Aelin...but wait - it was a fake! (Valg ring with Arobynn, Wyrdkey with Lorcan, Eye of Elena with the King of Adarlan)
