In my personal opinion, men who reject a woman bc they're (the man) are insecure and only accept her when she's on the floor, begging to be accepted... They're selfish assholes and don't deserve love. Anyway, don't know how this could've been solved otherwise so...
That being said, any problem I had with this book was bc of personal preference and the book itself is pretty good.

Another quick read from Lark. I think I prefer her longer works as I can invest in the characters a bit more but still really enjoyable.
