I took this series out on a whim from the library, drawn in by the cover while not knowing anything about the story. Now, I feel changed having finished the final volume. Maybe its the actual pandemic coloring my experience, but Gus and Jeppard's story perfectly fit in my current mind space. Existential questioning of what place humans have in the downfall of our own species and what a world with a dying human race might look like repopulated by a new generation of lifeforms is a big COVID mood. Ill be returning to these books again and again.

A great end to a great series! Sweet Tooth was was way to emotional for me to handle at some points, tearing my heart out over and over again. Highly recommend this series!

This wasn't a perfect series. It was preachy as hell, the same plot pints were reused over and over again, and the entire explanation for the sickness and hybrids was as awful the second time around as the first. But this series made me care about the characters, and it made me cry, so Lemire must have been doing something right.

i don’t really write reviews but this story really touched me. gus and friends persevered and it finally payed off because they were loved and protected by a man that in the beginning seemed like the bad guy. just an amazing series fives stars.
