I had such high hopes. No Exit was amazing.. but this book.. it was almost too much. Too hard to read, left me super confused too much of the time, extremely unrealistic and honesty just overall a let down… don’t waste your time in my opinion.

As expected from Taylor Adams since I read No Exit I have been continuously reading his works when I hit a slump. Eyeshot just did it again for me. Took too long to finish because of work but it was a great read through and through.

Was it good as No exit? No. Was it better than Hairpin Bridge? Hell yeah! It was the perfect kind of in-between.

All main characters in his story are mundane but have are able to use their personal experiences with adrenaline to survive.

Such a great read.

This was the perfect bonkers summer read. Finished this in a single day- even reading at work. Loved the twists and thought it was well-paced. 5/5

Gah this book is soooo good! I struggled to start reading it because I didn’t understand how the plot with a marksman shooting from a mile away could possibly work for a book. I didn’t think it would be believable but omg. Taylor Adams killed it. So suspenseful, so creative, so much action! Love Taylor Adams!

This actually kept me Interested, I tore through it anxious about what would happen to the main characters. It was well paced and I am nervous for the next time I have to drive through an isolated area

Finally got around to reading Taylor Adams' debut novel and it was just as thrilling as his other work!

I found this book to have a lot of similar elements to his book HAIRPIN BRIDGE (and couldn't help but wonder if EYESHOT could have just been a reference for, imo, a more thought out and emotional book)

That aside, I found myself loving our main characters, the tension was ON POINT, and the thrill really doesn't stop until the very end!

An overall rating of three stars because of the repeated use of problematic language that only added a cringeness to the story.
