Great art, interesting premise, but there was no point. The whole graphic novel is just a sequence of violence events - murdering women and collecting their dogs. There are no character arcs for anyone in the story - the women and their dogs were all 2D. (The serial killer is also 2D - but we don't need more media glorifying serial killers with character arcs that make people fall in love with them and their violence.)
Media is oversaturated with nonfiction and fiction stories of violence against women. I don't see the value in fiction that uses murder and violence against women as a mere plot point. None of the women were REAL 3D characters. The only things that mattered about the women were (1) do they have a dog? (2) do they live alone?
