bibliomaineiac's review against another edition

This book has a good foundation to be a great book. Good story line potential. However, I felt that much of it was a bit rushed. In one paragraph, the main character is trapped in a tunnel and sees a crack in the side. And in the next paragraph, the character has already made it back to his inn, washed, acquired new clothes, and meeting with another character. More detail would have made this a very good book. Also, could have used a bit of proof reading, as there were grammar and punctuation mistakes, that unfortunately, my brain picks up on. Entertaining overall, in it's simplicity, but because it left me wanting more in the way of the story, I only gave it three stars.
