This book was a four for the majority of it, but that ending really doesn't sit well with me! The reveals just didn't feel satisfying to me, and the cliffhanger was okay at best. I think I'm still gonna read the second one, praying its better than the first :p
I had a lot of fun with this book! The premise was great, the writing was snappy, and the twists and turns kept me guessing. Ross was a solid main character; it was easy to sympathize with her, and I really enjoyed seeing her journey of learning to trust the people around her (even among a group of untrustworthy people). Her relationship with Noelia was compelling as well. I didn't find myself as invested in the romance, but I did like the friendships that Ross formed along the way.
In terms of the story, it was really unique! I had a great time following along with the heists. There were a couple moments where I felt like the pacing slowed down a bit, and then the ending seemed a bit abrupt, but the book kept me engaged overall. (I also understand now that a sequel was being set up.) I'm not sure if I will continue with this series, but I'd be interested to see what Kayvion Lewis does next!

First two thirds of it was amazing, but the predictable plot twists and oblivious main character got a little old by the end. Still an enjoyable read
