THE COUNSELORS was my first book from Jessica Goodman, and I’m definitely going to be reading more of her books.  I really enjoyed this book.  I didn’t want to put it down, to be honest.  When I wasn’t reading it, I was counting the minutes until I could dive back in.  It’s also a really quick read, full of short chapters that bounce between past and present timelines.  I absolutely LOVE a good camp story.  This book was so perfect, it reminded me of all my summers at camp.  I really felt like I was back there again.  This is a perfect summer read.  I highly suggest you pick this one up!

This book made me feel so nostalgic. It perfectly captures the vibes of summer camps and actually reminded me of a few summer camps I've been to when I was a child. I really enjoyed reading this book, it was a quick read for me. I loved the friendships and the summer vibes.
I did see the ending coming but that didn't make me enjoy the book less. There are many mysteries and in the end they all get resolved.
This is a fun YA thriller with major summer vibes and with a great setting. If you love those things then you must read this book!
