I love summer camp thrillers and I couldn’t wait to start this one. But unfortunately I couldn’t connect with the story as I hoped I would. The writing was good and though at parts I was super bored, the pacing wasn’t terrible. The characters kind of got on my nerves. Some of the things that happened had me rolling my eyes. But then I realized this was more of a YA novel which I didn’t know when I went into it. So that’s my mistake as I could’ve had different expectations when reading.

In conclusion…..I didn’t hate it. Didn’t love it. It was entertaining enough to keep me going but didn’t have me flipping the pages with anticipation.
