This is the first volume of three. Incredible, this book combines violence, friendship, cowardice, strength, love and determination in order to create an extremely satisfying fantasy/thriller/horror graphic novel. Just begging for a proper television adaptation.

This was a very captivating read, it sucked me in and I could not put it down until I was finished. There may be some triggers in this as there was a  lot of violence in many ways. The author,  Kazuo Umezz,  really feel the emotions of each character, and the fact that there are children involved breaks your heart. Great series and illustrations!
