Not an author I actively seek out, though I've read a lot of the Stephanie Plum books over this years and this was reliably light-hearted.  For the first time I listened to this as an audio book and it might be my new favourite way to read Stephanie Plum as the narrator was spot on.

Another madcap mystery with crazy characters, exploding cars and apartments and of course the Morelli-Ranger-Stephanie love triangle

This is my comfort series and this book was everything that I wanted and needed. These characters have my heart and I would read absolutely anything about them, so it's not surprising how much I enjoyed this. Over the top criminals and hilarious lines from recurrent characters and of course the steamy thoughts and comments from both men in Steph's life made it so fun. This one felt like much lower stakes than recent books, but still dangerous (don't worry there are still explosions). There were some interesting surprises and I can't wait for more!

Also, there is a list of 30 favorite quotes at the end that had me absolutely cackling.

Another fun installment in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie is in quite the pickle and I can't wait to see how she gets herself out of it in the next installment. As always, the supporting characters manage to make me laugh at least once a story.

Not my thing. And tbh, it's annoying how they keep letting the dog keep eating things.
