This was cute. Very comedy of errors, and I was definitely rooting for the League of Pensioners.
This book was great! I loved the story. 5 residents of a nursing home decide they would be better off in prison and start making plans to "kidnap" precious pieces of art in exchange for random money. I was laughing thoughout the book; you can't help but cheer for the League of Pensioners!

A solid 3.5/5 stars for this old-aged caper. It’s a fun romp with some well-drawn characters. Some of the happenings are maybe a bit too far-fetched to be at all believable, but I was mostly just along for the ride.
Now I know you didn’t pick this up for sophisticated literature… it’s fun!!! And commentary about treatment of elderly folks is relevant and important, even outside of Sweden.

For anyone who loves a good old heist plot. As a plus, this book has several delightful and funny characters. Loved it.
