As always Jagger blows Deimos and Dahlia's story away! Deimos is the alpha dominate primal that you never knew you needed in your library. Dahlia didn't really give us a lot in way of her personality in the previous books but she is really a firecracker with a past that keeps her reserved. These two work so well together and the steamy scenes are definitely steamy. I didn't know how fun/hot indoor chases could be!!!!

Please be sure to read the trigger warning if you have triggers!

Reckless Hearts is the sixth book in the Dark Hearts series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Deimos Drakos and Dahlia have known each other for a while as they went to school together. But they weren’t friends, and Deimos was known as the weird, dangerous, mysterious kid. Something happened that caused Deimos to threaten Dahlia, and so she stayed away from him after that.

Now Dahlia is best friends with Deimos's sister, so she’s back in his life. He goes out of his way to get her to work for him, and he seems to know everything about her. She gets to know him more, and she ends up finding out the truth about everything that happened 6 years ago.

First, this book has the same tropes as the previous ones (at least from what I can recall) – virgin FMC and MMC that is just a little crazy and cruel (at first) to the FMC. There’s OW drama, spice, and instances where the FMC is in danger.

Despite those similarities, this had a great storyline. There are flashbacks that show them in school together, and it all comes full circle for Deimos and Dahlia in the end. They were both a little damaged, but they both truly understood each other and got the HEA they deserved.

This book is packed with action, suspense, and there’s even some angst. It’s the last book in the series, so I look forward to whatever is next.

I have been in love with this series, but this one? Holy fuck. This is now my favorite. Deimos is scary, possessive, and oh so hot. He’s the quiet one in his family, the one they barely know anything about, he keeps it all to himself. Dahlia is his sister’s friend who’s life is crashing down all around her. The thing is… Diemos and Dahlia have a secret. They aren’t meeting for the first time in his Ya-Ya’s kitchen. No instead they have a very dark past. I devoured this book and I’m honestly sad it ended. It ended perfectly but I just wasn’t ready to let go!!

Probably my least favorite of the series but it wasn’t awful! I wish there was more of the family involved in the story since it’s the last book in the series.

Great series, super sad it’s over!
