I had high hopes for this but I was disappointed.
It all felt a bit too obscure; there were just too many gaps for the reader to fill in. None of the characters felt very clear, and certainly none of them was very likeable.
I accept that I’m not the target audience but I read a lot of YA books and this just didn’t work for me.
Unbelievable, violent, dark. I felt this was trying to be really clever but failed to meet its own aspirations.
And why do so many YA titles have to be about abuse and violence? It’s not what I want to watch and it’s not what I want to read. But, as I said, I’m not the target audience.

Absolutely riveting and horrifying at the same time... plot twist after plot twist leaving you with chills running up your spine from beginning to end... not forgetting this easily

was quite slow at times but when it picked up I really liked it, the ending kind of ruined it for me as it felt quite dragged out and overly confusing but the middle bit was sooo good
