It kind of put me in a reading slump so I don’t know how to feel about it. The first hundred pages were somewhat hard to get through, however the end was very easy to read as there was a lot of plot progression and action. I did like the plot twists, some I saw coming and come chocked me. 

I really did like the ending, how the agon was ended and how they were finally set free from the endless cycles of violence. Even thought it is a very common ending and lesson to be learned, it did not feel cliche. 

I liked castor a lot and lore and castor were very cute together. Can and miles were also adorable. Sometime Lore annoyed me because of her incessant pursuit of kleos (honour) however I do see that the book wanted to reflect Ancient Greek literature, so I can’t fault it too much for that. It was just a little off-putting when her parents wanted to flee the city of their family wouldn’t be killed, she called them cowards😐

Lo saco del estante "paused" y de mi biblioteca porque me sincero conmigo misma y realmente no lo voy a terminar nunca. Una lástima porque recuerdo que me estaba gustando mucho pero en paralelo leí un libro que me estaba consumiendo y decidí pausar Lore. Un año pasó y nunca sentí el impulso de retomarlo asi que adiós.

Six (or seven?) words to describe this book: Meh beginning. Heart-racing middle. Meh ending.

3.25 stars rounded to 3. The book had potential, but it fell flat on the characters and the actual conflict. It was okay but it's definitely not for everyone.

Ce livre est addictif. Il se lit très rapidement, les évènements s'enchaînent, l'intrigue et les plot twist sont bien équilibrés, j'adore ! Mais par contre cette fin... Je veux en savoir plus !
