Is this best book I’ve ever read? No. Will I be reading the rest of the series? ABSOLUTELY!
I love a good why choose romance and Deceit is no exception! It had a decent plot and a good amount of spice. That being said, I did find some of it repetitive with the spice and phrasing. How quickly things progressed with Skyla and each of them falling in love in like a few weeks… idk, it felt a little disingenuous. The plot felt a bit rushed along with the relationship evolution too. Asher’s character confused me a wee bit from the beginning to his confessions at the end as well. I am still looking forward to the rest of the series, because THAT ENDING THOUGH!!!!!
