I love a good why-choose reverse harem so much! I eat it up every time.
I also really love the premise of the whole story. The danger, intrigue, and secret society aspects all fit together very nicely.
It felt a little bit insta-lovey to me with how quickly they all fell for each other (or how quickly she fell for them actually).
There were definitely some cringey moments, but for the most part, it was an enjoyable time listening to the audiobook (love a full cast!) and the ending had me immediately ready to hit play on the next book in the Gallows Hill series!

Would definitely recommend it to the right audience. It’s dark, even the romance is on the dark side with some of the people in her harem.

There were aspects I loved and ones I didn’t. Confessions of love that felt too soon to not be flags. Overall, I enjoyed it. Started the second book immediately.

I went into this book blindly, and I’m glad I did because if I would have read the back, I don’t think I would’ve read this book. I am intrigued as to what happens next but idk how I feel about all the boyfriends she has. Don’t get me wring, I don’t mind books like this, I mind when they’re hypocritical though. Her getting upset that Asher has relations with anyone yet she’s allowed to have multiple guys in her life? No. I wish to learn more about her family history and what it’s all about.
