What a heartbreaking book at every twist and turn. This book definitely helps put your life into perspective, and makes you appreciate that anything can change at any moment. I was so struck by the contrast between their before/after lives, and that feeling that life as you know it could turn on a dime. This was devastating but beautifully written.

I ugly cried. LOL I summarized the story to my husband, and I choked up at the last quarter of the story. I still cried when I was working on this post days later. I'm an emotional wreck, yes. But, so what?
This book is heart-wrenching but so beautiful. so beautiful that I do not know how to review it properly. All I know is that I will recommend it to everyone.
